Obtention of the EIC Y code in Austria by WISTHEM.

WISTHEM has obtained its EIC Y Code Code in Austria in October 15th 2015 and has now become a Balance Group balancing Grid which allow the group to trade gas and electricity in the OTC market. Gas Connect Austria is the Austrian gas transport partner for Europe. With a 900 km long high-pressure gas pipeline network in Austria and a sales volume entry / exit of 149 bcm per year Gas Connect Austria is an integral part of the European gas landscape. Gas Connect Austria is a central hub in the European natural gas network. They make a significant contribution for the natural gas supply of Austria and Germany, France, Slovenia, Croatia and Hungary.
